Patient Information
- If you are a new patient, inform the compounder or the attending doctor, so that a detailed case history is taken. Prior appointments for a new case can be taken over the phone.
- Always bring along with you all the reports relating to your illnesses, whenever you visit the doctor.
- Patient is requested to give all the information as required by the doctor while taking their case history.
- Since the medicines are absorbed through the tongue (sublingual route), avoid taking food which are very pungent, those which leave a strong after taste like tobacco, chewing gum, cardamom (Elaichi), raw onion, garlic.
- Avoid taking coffee during treatment
- Keep half an hour gap whenever you consume the medicines before and after
- Pills / Tablets / powders should be sucked or chewed and not gulped with water unless otherwise specified.
- Avoid touching pills with hands to prevent contamination. Instead put the pills directly on the tongue with the help of Bottle Lid.
- Do not stop any previous medication unless advised by the doctor.
- When on homoeopathic treatment avoid the use of local skin applications. They may suppress the problem and interfere with the curative process. (such as medicated creams, perfumed oil etc.)
- In chronic ailments, there may be an initial flare up. Do not worry, it will subside on its own. For any acute aggravations report to the doctor immediately.
- Since we believe that diet is an integral part of healthy living and cure of illnesses, care should be taken to avoid unhealthy food. Avoid alcohol, smoking pan, pan masala etc. during treatment.
